This next home was in need of an architects help. Eadie hired Terry Rosser, an architect from Hilton Head, and together they transformed this house. New French doors and windows was all that Terry did in this room. Eadie chose the wall colors, had the original heart pine floors refinished with a water base stain, and purchased a large couch and four upholstered chairs with a custom designed coffee table making it easy to entertain large groups. Eadie had the built-in cabinet taken out and had the armoire outfitted with a flat screened TV and music equipment, along with speakers that were all installed by her Technology Consultant from Capstone Home Technologies. |

The exterior of this house was in need of some serious attention. Again, with the help of Terry Rosser, the pair decided to take out the railings, the sliders and plate glass windows and replace them with double hung windows. The landscaping was designed by Eadie along with the paver side walk and steps leading to the front door. |

This was a home that Eadie was able to design without utilizing an architect. Budget was also a big factor and she was able to accomplish the goal within that budget. The photos are of the kitchen before and after it was remolded. The cabinets were totaled removed from the kitchen since they were old and water damaged. |

Since the kitchen had an open concept with the dining room and living room, she wanted the view from the other rooms to be attractive. She chose not to use cabinets on the wall and put a bead board back splash behind the stove and counter. If you look closely, you will notice the popcorn ceiling between the beams was covered with inexpensive bead board sheets. The furniture was collected from a local unfinished furniture shop which she had painted in different colors. The washer and dryer were left in place with bead board behind the appliances and the corner cabinet was made into a pantry to help with the lack of cabinets. |
